Meet Our Team
Val W. Jark – can maximize your real estate options. He is a licensed Real Estate Auctioneer as well as a licensed Broker Associate. He has been conducting real estate auctions since 1993 and brokering land privately since 1995. Val was a volunteer fireman/1st responder for over 20 years and has conducted countless benefit auctions for those with illness, for wildlife and charity organizations and for 4-H, FFA and youth groups. His years of giving have not only helped him forge many friendships and business relationships, but has also built and strengthened respect and trust throughout the region. “We are not someone who comes and goes. We have vested ourselves in this area for decades and believe it will be hard to find someone who knows and understands the needs of the people or the markets in this region better than we do.”
Nancy L. Jark – is the managing Broker at Jark/Worlie Auction Service, LLC and has been licensed since 1995. Nancy is a 3 time Aberdeen Area Association of Realtors “Realtor of the Year”. She has served the local Board of Realtors Executive Committee since 1996. Nancy also has served the South Dakota Association of Realtors Professional Standards Committee since 2008. She is certified by the South Dakota Real Estate Commission as a Real Estate Instructor. Nancy has served the First United Methodist Church in Aberdeen as a Trustee since 2009, taught Jr. Achievement at Warner School since 2008 and has served on many committees and groups throughout her life.
Jark/Worlie Auction Service, LLC sells real estate through traditional live auctions, hybrid auctions with phone bidding and through conventional real estate listings. We’ll assess your individual situation and use our years of experience to craft the strategy that is best for you.
Real Estate Market Analysis & Consultation
We first need to view your property to gain insight and to evaluate your real estate. We will then like to meet with you and discuss your different options. We will share our marketing ideas and listen to your expectations. Once a listing or auction date is selected we can begin preparing necessary paperwork.
Advertising & Marketing
Our team will choose a specifically developed advertising and marketing campaign. We will rely on print advertising, our web presence and we will create your very own real estate booklet – complete with aerial photos, soil maps, topography, sale terms and any other pertinent facts. We will mail these booklets to anyone we feel would have an interest.
The Sale / Auction
Our professional, experienced team of auctioneers, realtors and staff will care for every aspect of your sale. Our team will be available to assist potential buyers with needs and are motivators in the competitive bidding atmosphere. Upon completion of the sale, we will arrange the signing of necessary paperwork, collect the escrow money and deliver to the closing agent.
Closing/Settlement
We will set up/arrange the closing of your sale and ensure that the sale stays on course throughout the closing period. We will remain in contact with the closing agent and assist you throughout the transaction. We will oversee the entire sale process from beginning to end.
